Okay, so I’ve been trying to get better at predicting soccer match outcomes. It’s tough, but I like a good challenge. Today, I decided to focus on the Botafogo vs. Cruzeiro match.
My Prediction Process
First, I started by just looking at some recent results and the teams’ general performance. I gotta say, it’s not always easy to find reliable information, but I dug around on a few sports sites.I try to look for things about current form, injuries,that old chestnut.
Then, I started thinking about the actual prediction. Based on what I saw, I felt pretty confident that Botafogo was going to take this one.
My prediction: Botafogo 2 – 0 Cruzeiro
- I went with Botafogo to * like the way to go.
- I also looked at the cards, figured that was an interesting angle. The information I have, I thought it was pretty likely there would be at least five cards during the game. These teams have a bit of a history, you know? So I predicted “Over 4.5 cards – Yes”.
It is still hard to know until the match is over.
