Okay, here’s my blog post about the Monopoly Go Snowman Contest, written in a casual, personal style:

Alright, so I jumped into this Monopoly Go Snowman Contest thing today. I saw it pop up and figured, why not? I’ve been playing a decent amount lately, so I thought I had a shot.
First thing I did was check out the rules, you know, make sure I wasn’t missing anything obvious. It seemed pretty straightforward – collect snowflakes, build snowmen, get points. Sounded easy enough, right?
My Strategy (Or Lack Thereof)
Honestly, I didn’t have much of a plan going in. I just started rolling and playing like normal. I figured I’d focus on landing on the Chance and Community Chest spaces, hoping to snag some of those snowflake tokens. I also made sure to hit up the railroads, ’cause, well, you gotta move around the board!
I quickly realized that just landing on Chance and Community Chest wasn’t going to cut it. Some of the other players were racking up points fast. So, I started to get a little more aggressive with my property purchases. I mean, if you own more properties, you’re more likely to get rent, and more rent means more money to, uh, do… stuff. I guess buy more dice?
- Early Game: Mostly just rolling, trying to get lucky with snowflakes.
- Mid Game: Started buying properties more strategically, trying to build sets.
- Late Game: Full-on panic mode. Rolling like crazy, hoping for a miracle.
The event lasted for a while. I put some time in this, completed many events and built some snowmans.

In the end, did I win? Nope. Not even close. But, did I have some fun? Yeah, I did. It was a good excuse to play some Monopoly Go, and it definitely made things a little more interesting. Plus, I did get some rewards, even if I wasn’t at the top of the leaderboard.
My main takeaway? I need a better strategy next time. Maybe I’ll actually, you know, plan things out. Or maybe I’ll just keep rolling and hoping for the best. We’ll see!
