So, I jumped into this “Corsair Cup” thing on Monopoly Go today. It popped up on May 24, 2024, and I figured, why not? It’s only going to be around for a day, so I dove right in.
First off, I noticed it’s one of those leaderboard events. You know, the kind where you compete with other players to see who can rack up the most points. There were all sorts of prizes up for grabs – Cash, Sticker Packs, and other goodies. I started by rolling the dice and moving my piece around the board, just like in regular Monopoly.
- Collecting Points: I realized pretty quickly that the key was to land on specific tiles to score points. The event details mentioned something about certain milestones, so I kept an eye out for those.
- Landing on Railroads: I noticed that landing on Railroad tiles seemed to be a good way to get points. I tried to aim for those as much as possible.
- Completing Objectives: There were these little objectives that popped up, like “Land on a Chance tile three times” or “Collect rent from a property.” I made sure to complete those whenever I could. They gave a decent amount of points.
As I played, I started to climb up the leaderboard. It was actually kind of fun seeing my name move up the ranks. I wasn’t at the top, but I wasn’t doing too bad either. I kept rolling and collecting, trying to hit those milestones.
Hitting the Milestones
Eventually, I started hitting some of the milestones mentioned in the event description. Each one gave a nice chunk of rewards. I got some extra Cash, which is always useful, and a few Sticker Packs. I even managed to complete a set of stickers, which gave me a bonus.
The whole thing only lasted for a day, so I made sure to play as much as I could. By the end of it, I didn’t win the whole thing, but I did pretty well. I walked away with a bunch of rewards and had a good time doing it. I would say this event is a great chance to get rewards.
All in all, it was a fun little event. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for more of these in the future. They’re a nice change of pace from the regular game, and the rewards are definitely worth it.
