It’s supposed to be a big deal, all these star players, clashing like, ya know, big ol’ bulls in a field. They say it’s a “clash of titans” and a “meeting of international superstars”, whatever that means. Sounds like a lot of hoopla to me.
Now, you can’t just use these teams everywhere in the game. My grandson was tellin’ me, you can’t use ’em in that Diamond Dynasty thing, where you make your own team. That’s a shame, he says, ’cause he wanted to have all the best players from everywhere. But no, the game don’t let ya do that. Can’t use ’em online against other folks neither, not in that Diamond thingy.

He’s always tryin’ to get more coins, spendin’ all his time clickin’ and tappin’. Kids these days, I tell ya.
This whole World Baseball Classic thing, it’s the first time they got all the big-shot players from the major leagues playin’ for their countries. Like, the real good fellas, the ones you see on TV. So, it’s supposed to be a big deal, seein’ all these guys playin’ together, not just for their regular teams. It’s all about showing off, I reckon, “Shock the game” and “Own the show” they say. Sounds like a bunch of young fellas full of themselves to me.
My grandson, he keeps yellin’ about “owning the show.” I guess that means winnin’ and bein’ the best. He gets all worked up, swearing and stompin’ when he loses. I tell him, “it’s just a game, calm down!”. But he don’t listen, kids these days, they just don’t listen. They get all excited about owning things and showing off.
Anyway, back to the game. So, if you wanna play with these international teams, you gotta go to that Exhibition mode. Then you can pick whoever you want and play. It’s fun, I guess. I watched my grandson play a few times. The players look real, and the stadiums look real fancy. They got all the announcers yellin’ and the crowd cheerin’. It’s like watchin’ a real game on TV, but you get to control it. Sorta.
And them jerseys, like I said, they’re real somethin’. My grandson, he’s always lookin’ at ’em, talkin’ ’bout how he wants to get this one or that one. He spends more time lookin’ at the jerseys than playin’ the game sometimes, I swear. He told me you can go to some auction thingy in the game and buy ’em. Sounds like a waste of money to me, but what do I know? I ain’t never spent a dime on a fake jersey in my life.
