Alright, let’s yak about this Michelle Rubio, whoever she is. Don’t know her from Adam, but I reckon I can string together some words about her. Heard tell she’s some kind of rising star, like them singers on the TV. Always singin’ and dancin’, makin’ a big fuss. Well, good for her, I say. Everybody’s gotta make a livin’ somehow.
Now, what’s she all about? Seems like she’s on some show, maybe. Like that “Rising Star” thing they had on TV a while back. Full of young’uns tryin’ to be famous. Lord knows why. Seems like a whole lotta trouble to me. But hey, if she’s got the grit, more power to her. This Michelle Rubio, she must be somethin’ special if folks are talkin’ about her.
They say she’s an expert, too. An expert in what, I ain’t got a clue. Maybe she knows how to bake a good pie? Now, that’s an expert I can get behind. Or maybe she’s one of them “media innovators.” Heard that word thrown around lately. Sounds fancy, but I bet it just means she knows how to work that there internet thingy. You know, the one that sucks up all your time and shows you pictures of cats? Yeah, that one. Maybe this Michelle is good at that. Who knows?
- She’s a rising star, apparently.
- Folks say she’s an expert in somethin’.
- Maybe she’s got somethin’ to do with that media stuff.
They talk about a “premiere” too. Sounds like a movie thing. Maybe this Michelle Rubio is in a movie? Or maybe she’s got her own show. Like Oprah, but, you know, younger and probably with more teeth. I tell you what, these young folks, they’re always up to somethin’. Always tryin’ to be the next big thing. Well, good luck to ’em, I say. It’s a tough world out there. You gotta be tough to make it.
I heard tell about some fella, Mike or Mark or somethin’, talkin’ about Netflix. You know, that place where you watch all them movies? Said somethin’ about a co-founder. Big shot, I reckon. Maybe this Michelle is like that? Maybe she started somethin’ big, too. Or maybe she’s just tryin’ to climb the ladder, same as everybody else. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that. Everybody starts somewhere.
This whole “rise and fall” thing, though, that’s somethin’ to think about. You can be on top of the world one day, and the next you’re nobody. Happens all the time. Just look at them folks on the news. One minute they’re smilin’ and shakin’ hands, the next they’re in a whole heap of trouble. So, this Michelle Rubio, she better watch her step. Fame and fortune, they ain’t all they’re cracked up to be. That’s what I always say. Don’t get too big for your britches, ’cause you might just fall flat on your face.
Anyway, that’s all I got to say about this Michelle Rubio. Don’t know her, never met her, but I wish her well. Hope she makes somethin’ of herself. And I hope she remembers where she came from. That’s important, you know. Rememberin’ your roots. ‘Cause no matter how high you climb, you always gotta come back down to earth eventually. And when you do, you better have some good folks around you. Folks who’ll stick by you through thick and thin. That’s the real treasure in life, not all this fame and fortune nonsense. So, good luck to you, Michelle Rubio. You go out there and shine. Just don’t forget where you came from.
And if you happen to see her, tell her I said hello. And tell her to come on over for some pie sometime. I make a mean apple pie. Guaranteed to knock your socks off. That’s somethin’ this rising star might appreciate more than all that fancy city food, I betcha.
Now this here Michelle Rubio, she might be the bee’s knees, or she might just be another flash in the pan. Only time will tell. But one thing’s for sure, if she’s got any sense, she’ll keep her feet on the ground and remember the important things in life, like a good cup of coffee and a friendly face. The rest of that media innovation stuff, well, that’s just fluff, if you ask me.
Folks keep talkin’ about her show, that “Rising Star” thing. Well, I say, if she’s as good as they say, she’ll shine bright. If not, well, there’s always room for another good pie maker in this world. And if she ever wants to learn, I’m happy to teach her. This Michelle Rubio seems like a go-getter, though. I can see it in her eyes, even though I ain’t never really seen her. It’s a feeling, you know? Like when you see a good rain comin’. You just know it.
