At first, I panicked. How am I supposed to defend myself against those creepy crawlies with just my pickaxe? Thankfully, I remembered the Adventurer’s Guild. They are lifesaver in these situations. So, I took a deep breath and dragged myself over there, hoping they could help me out.
When I arrived at the green building, I saw Marlon, the guy with the eyepatch, at the desk. He’s the one who runs the Item Retrieval Service. Basically, you pay him a fee, and he’ll go and find one of your lost items. In my case, it was my sword.
- First of all, I went to the Adventurer’s Guild. It’s just to the right of the Mine entrance.
- Talk to Marlon, the guy with the eyepatch at the desk.
- He’ll offer to retrieve your lost item. In my case, my sword.
I handed over the coins, feeling a bit sheepish about losing my sword in the first place, but Marlon didn’t judge. He just nodded and assured me he’d get my sword back to me. I went home and hit the hay, hoping for the best.
The next morning, I found a letter in my mailbox. It was from Marlon, saying he had recovered my sword! Hallelujah! I rushed back to the Guild, and there it was, my trusty sword, waiting for me at the counter. I could not express how happy I was to see it again.
