Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Generation Zero on my PS4 lately, and let me tell you, sometimes you just need a little… boost. I’m not the best player, okay? I’m not gonna lie. I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with cheats, so I went on a hunt.
First, I spent, like, an hour just Googling around. So much noise! Lots of forums, some videos, but most of it was just people asking the same question: “Are there cheats for Generation Zero on PS4?”
I kept digging. I learned quickly that there aren’t any “official” cheat codes like you’d find in older games. You know, the kind where you punch in some button combination on the controller? No, those days are mostly gone.

Then I started seeing stuff about “trainers” and “mods.” Now, this is where things got a little murky. I learned that these usually involve messing with the game’s files, which is way easier to do on a PC. For PS4, it’s a whole different ballgame, and frankly, a bit scary.
I learned that a lot of people were very against this idea. Messing with your save files can corrupe your data and there is a potential to get banned.
I decided to try my hands and see what happens.

- I did not find any safe way to modify any save files and I do not recommend anyone try this without knowing the risks.
So, yeah, after all that searching and digging, I found some ways to modify my files, but I ended up deciding not to try anything. The risk of messing up my PS4 or getting banned just wasn’t worth it. It’s just not worth it!
My advice? Just play the game, have fun, and maybe team up with some buddies online. It’s way more rewarding (and way less risky) than trying to cheat the system. That’s what I’m doing now, anyway. And hey, I’m actually getting better at the game, too! Who knew?
