You know, there’s been a lot of talk about whether Kyle Allen and Josh Allen are related, and I’ve heard it from all sorts of folks. Some folks get all confused ’cause they both got that last name, Allen. But let me tell ya, there ain’t no family ties between these two quarterbacks, no sir!
Now, I ain’t sayin’ they ain’t got a good relationship. They’ve been around each other for a while, seein’ as they’re both playin’ football in the NFL, but that’s about it. There’s no blood relation there, nothin’ like that. I reckon people just think ’cause they share the same last name, they must be cousins or somethin’. But that’s just not the case!
From what I’ve heard, these two Allens met through their coach, a feller by the name of Jordan Palmer. Now, Jordan, he’s the guy who’s been workin’ with both Josh and Kyle, teachin’ ’em the ropes of football, gettin’ ’em ready for the big leagues. I reckon he’s the one who’s been makin’ sure they both know what they’re doin’ on the field.
Now, Kyle Allen, he’s a young man in his first season playin’ as the backup quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. He ain’t got as much playtime as Josh, but he’s been around, bein’ there when needed. I hear tell he’s been in seven games in 2023, but hasn’t thrown a single pass yet. Just been watchin’ and learnin’, I reckon. Even though folks might expect a bit more from him, he’s still doin’ his job and doin’ it well enough.
So, like I said, the two of ‘em aren’t related. But they sure have been workin’ together like good teammates. Kyle Allen came to the Bills in the off-season, signed a one-year deal with the team, and just like that, the fans started wonderin’ if he was Josh’s kin. Nope, no kinship here, just two men doin’ their jobs, one as the star and one as the backup.
Now, let me tell ya a little bit more about Kyle Allen’s background. This feller didn’t grow up in some big city with all the fancy stuff. Nope, he came from a small town called Firebaugh in California. It’s a place where folks work hard on farms, where you learn the value of good, honest labor. His folks, Joel and Lavonne, taught him and his siblings the meaning of hard work. He wasn’t raised in some big city with distractions, just good old-fashioned hard work.
He went to Desert Mountain High School in Arizona, where he played ball alongside Mark Andrews, who’s now a tight end for the Baltimore Ravens. Kyle musta learned a thing or two from Mark, ’cause they both turned out pretty good, makin’ it all the way to the NFL.
But back to the point, it’s important to know that just ’cause two folks have the same last name doesn’t mean they’re family. Sometimes, it’s just a coincidence. And that’s the case with Josh Allen and Kyle Allen. They ain’t kin, but they sure do seem to respect each other. Both of ’em got their eyes on the prize, playin’ their hearts out for the Bills.
So, the next time somebody asks you if Kyle and Josh Allen are related, you can set ’em straight! Tell ’em no, they’re not family, but they are both workin’ hard to make it in the NFL. And that’s what really matters, don’t ya think?
