Okay, so I’ve been diving into the world of golf instructionals lately, and I stumbled across Kristin Sorsdal’s stuff. I was like, “Alright, let’s see what this is all about.” I’m always looking for ways to, you know, not completely embarrass myself on the course.

Getting Started
First, I just started watching some of her videos. I mean, that’s the easiest way to get a feel for someone’s teaching style, right? I wanted to see if her approach even made sense to my brain.
Practice Swings
After watching, it was time to get off my butt and actually try some of this stuff. No golf ball, just me in my backyard swinging the club. I was mostly focusing on the things she talked about with grip and posture. Honestly, I felt a little awkward at first. It’s always weird trying to change up your swing.
Hitting the Range
Next, I decided it was time for a real test. I went to a golf course and started hitting some balls. The first few? Yeah, not great. Total shanks and slices. It takes a while to get used to new things, especially out on the course. But I kept reminding myself of Kristin’s tips, focusing on my grip and setup each time, it takes time and it won’t change the golf skill in one night!
Keep Trying!
I’m still very much in the “figuring it out” phase. But I’m gonna keep at it. I’ll keep watching her videos, keep practicing, and keep applying what I’m learning.
