Okay, so today I’m gonna mess around with something called “kira close up -kosarin.” Sounds fancy, huh? Well, it’s basically about getting that cool, sparkling effect on close-up photos of this actress, Kira Kosarin. I saw a couple of her pictures online, and man, her eyes just pop! I figured, why not try to recreate that look myself?
First things first, I grabbed a few close-up shots of Kira. Just regular ones I found by googling her. Nothing special, really. I made sure they were decent quality, though. You know, not all blurry or pixelated. Gotta have a good starting point, right?
Then, I opened up my trusty old photo editor. I usually just use it to crop photos or adjust the brightness, you know, the basic stuff. This was gonna be a bit more involved. I zoomed way in on Kira’s eyes in one of the photos. The goal here was to add those little sparkly bits, but without making it look fake or cheesy.
I started experimenting with the brush tool. Tried different sizes, different levels of opacity. I even messed with the brush shapes. Turns out, a tiny, soft-edged brush worked best. I picked a white color and started carefully dabbing little dots around her eyes, mostly on the highlights where the light was already hitting.
- First, I used a large, soft brush with low opacity to add a general glow around her eyes.
- Next, I switched to a smaller brush with higher opacity to add the brighter, more defined sparkles.
- Finally, I used a very tiny brush with even higher opacity to add a few really sharp, intense highlights to make her eyes appear to have a wet look.
It was kind of tedious, gonna be honest. Took a lot of trial and error. Sometimes I’d add too much and it would look like she had glitter all over her face. Other times, I wouldn’t add enough, and you could barely see the effect. It was all about finding that sweet spot.
After a good while of tinkering, I think I finally nailed it. Her eyes looked way more dazzling, almost like they were twinkling. I compared my edited photo to the original, and the difference was pretty noticeable. The original looked a bit flat now, while the edited one had that extra oomph.
I repeated the process on a couple of other photos of Kira, just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. And yeah, it worked consistently. Each time, her eyes ended up looking brighter and more captivating. It’s a cool little trick, really. You can use it to enhance any close-up photo, not just ones of Kira Kosarin. Just gotta be patient and experiment a bit to get the hang of it.
I also tried to make her eyelashes more prominent. I selected them and changed the color a little bit and made them darker and used a small brush to add a few extra lashes in some places. To finish it off I made her eyes a bit brighter. To do that I selected them with the lasso tool and changed some settings.
What I learned today
So, yeah, that was my little photo editing adventure for today. It’s amazing what you can do with just a few simple tools and a little bit of patience. Who knew making someone’s eyes sparkle could be so much fun?
