Okay, so, let’s talk about this “J.T. Poston WITB” thing. I’ve been messing around with my golf gear lately, trying to see what works best for me, and I got curious about what the pros are using. Poston’s name kept popping up, so I figured I’d dig in and see what he’s got in his bag.

First thing I did was a little searching to see what he uses. Turns out, the guy’s pretty much all about Titleist. I mean, almost everything in his bag is from them. It’s like he’s a walking Titleist advertisement or something. But hey, if it works for him, it works. I started with looking at his driver. I found out that he’s using a new Titleist TSR3 driver. I haven’t tried that one yet, but it sounds pretty fancy.
- Driver: Titleist TSR3, that’s the new shiny thing.
Then I moved on to his woods. He’s got some older TS2 woods in there. I guess he likes those, and they’re probably way cheaper now that the new stuff is out. So, I looked around for some used TS2s online, just to see what the prices were like. Not bad, actually. I was thinking about trying them out, see if I can get a little more distance. But, I found out that Poston has a GT3 Driver as well, and he gets on average 293 yards, not bad. Although I don’t think he’s a heavy hitter like some other guys on Tour.
- Woods: Titleist TS2, the older, but maybe still good, models.
- Driver 2: GT3.
After that, I checked out his irons. He’s rocking the T100 irons. Those are some sweet-looking clubs. I’ve hit them a couple of times at the driving range, and they feel pretty good. So, I spent a good chunk of time comparing those to my current irons, trying to decide if they’re worth the investment. I’m still on the fence about it, but they’re definitely tempting.
- Irons: Titleist T100, those are the ones that look really nice.
Next, I looked into his short game. Like I said, it’s all Titleist. He’s got their wedges and putter, too. I didn’t spend as much time on these because, honestly, my short game is a mess right now. I need to work on my technique before I start blaming my clubs. But I did make a note to check them out later, when I start playing better.
- Short game: All Titleist, like the rest of his bag.
I also stumbled upon some random stuff while I was looking into Poston. Did you know that Jon Rahm won some CareerBuilder Challenge a while back? I found that out from somewhere. And also found out that there’s this camp thing for some football team that runs from July 27 to August 19. I guess that’s cool if you’re into that kind of thing. They have 12 open practices or something for fans to attend, but those are subject to change. So, yeah, lots of random stuff I found out when searching about Poston.

The End
So, yeah, that’s basically what I did today. I went down this rabbit hole of J.T. Poston’s golf bag and ended up looking at a bunch of Titleist gear. I might try out some of those TS2 woods, and the T100 irons are definitely on my radar. But for now, I’m just going to keep practicing and see if I can improve my game before I make any big purchases. This whole thing did make me think more about my own equipment, though. It’s interesting to see what the pros are using and how it compares to what I have in my bag. Maybe I’ll do another one of these deep dives on another golfer soon. It’s kind of fun, and I learn a lot, even if it’s just about golf clubs.
