Okay, so, today I wanna talk about something I’ve been messing around with. It’s kinda like mixing two of my favorite things: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and WWE. Yeah, it sounds weird, but trust me, it’s been a blast.
I started with this idea after hearing that JoJo Siwa, the dancer, had some drama on a reality show. Apparently, she left because she got a contract with Nickelodeon, but the show made up some story about a ballet duet. It got me thinking about drama in wrestling and how it’s all staged for entertainment. And then it hit me – what if I could combine the over-the-top action of WWE with the crazy, stylish world of JoJo?
So, I started digging into some classic WWE stuff. I watched old matches, you know, from the Attitude Era, with commentators like JR and Jerry “The King” Lawler. Those guys were the best, the voices of a whole generation of wrestling. I also read up on some of the behind-the-scenes stuff, like how Tony Chimel, this legendary ring announcer, is now with AEW. It’s wild how much history there is in this stuff.
Then, I started thinking about how celebrities are always getting involved in wrestling. I watched a video about how famous people, from Mr. T to Logan Paul, have made appearances in the ring. It’s always a big deal, and it gets people talking. That’s when I realized that these crossovers are kinda like the Stands in JoJo, these special powers that are unique to each character. Each one is different, and they all have these crazy names and abilities. That’s some Stand user level. They’re unique, and no one knows who has what kind of power.
I spent hours just brainstorming, trying to match up WWE wrestlers with JoJo characters. Like, who would be the Jotaro of WWE? Who would be the Dio? It was tough, but also super fun. I made a whole list of potential matchups, with special moves and everything. For example, I imagined John Cena as Jotaro, with his “You Can’t See Me” taunt being like Star Platinum’s invisibility. And then I thought, who’s a better Dio than The Rock, with his charisma and his “People’s Elbow” being like The World’s time-stopping power?
My Crazy JoJo WWE Roster
- John Cena as Jotaro Kujo
- The Rock as Dio Brando
- “Stone Cold” Steve Austin as Joseph Joestar
- Randy Orton as Yoshikage Kira
- Becky Lynch as Jolyne Cujoh
I even started sketching out some ideas for what these characters would look like in the JoJo art style, with the flamboyant outfits and the dramatic poses. Let me tell you, it was wild. Imagine “Stone Cold” Steve Austin with a Stand that lets him summon beer cans like projectiles. Or Randy Orton with a Stand that turns people into snakes. It’s nuts, but it works!
So, yeah, that’s what I’ve been up to. It’s just a fun little project, a way to combine two things I love. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I’ve been having a blast with it. Maybe one day I’ll even turn it into something more, like a fan comic or a video. Who knows? The possibilities are as endless as the world of JoJo itself.
