Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this whole Jackson Holliday rookie card thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. I started out like everyone else, just browsing the internet, looking for deals, you know?
First, I hit up some big online shops. I’m not gonna lie, the prices were all over the place. Some were super expensive, and some were cheap but looked kinda off, if you catch my drift. Not sure I could trust them.
Then I started to search specific stuff, like “Jackson Holliday Baseball cards.” I was trying to narrow things down, and found some cards from different sets, like, 31 sets or something like that. That’s a lot, right? Anyway, I saw some cards that were gaining value, like, big time. There was one called “2024 Topps Chrome Cosmic #7 Aqua Equinox Refractor /199” that seemed to be a hot item.
Next, I tried to focus on just the rookie cards. I mean, that’s what everyone’s really after, right? I found a site where you could buy from different sellers, which was cool ’cause you could kind of compare prices and stuff. They had a bunch of rookie cards listed, so that was a good sign.
More Research is Needed
But then I started to do some real research, trying to figure out which cards were actually the most valuable. I found out there are, like, over 3000 Jackson Holliday cards out there, including 174 rookie cards! Can you believe that? And, get this, there are like, 2875 different versions of those cards. It’s crazy!
I learned that the most valuable one is some “2022 Bowman Draft Chrome Draft Pick Autographs Orange #CDA-JH Jackson Holliday /25 PSA 9” card. No idea what all that means, but it’s apparently worth a lot of money. It is sold by Bowman Draft from 2022, how could I get one?
- Looked online for deals
- Searched for specific sets
- Focused on rookie cards
- Researched valuable cards
- Wondered how to get that rare card…
I even found out that the most valuable rookie card ever is some 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card. There are only three of them in the world, or something. It’s wild!
So, yeah, that’s where I’m at now. I’m still trying to figure out this whole rookie card thing, but it’s definitely been interesting. It’s like a whole other world, you know? And it seems like it’s just getting started, especially with this 2024 Topps Chrome Update set that’s coming out. They’ve got some double autograph card with Jackson Holliday and Bill Ripken that people are going crazy for. It is not a easy work. I may keep searching.
Anyway, that’s my story so far. I’ll keep you guys updated if I find anything else cool, or if I finally get my hands on one of those super rare cards!
