Alright, let’s gab about this Joey Bosa fella, the football player, you know? Seems like he’s been busy, not just tossin’ the pigskin around but also gettin’ himself hitched. Yep, you heard that right, engaged! To some gal named Amanda, somethin’-somethin’, real long last name, hard to remember. Anyways, they say she’s a big deal on that there “Insta-gram,” whatever that is. Kids these days and their gadgets, I tell ya.
So, this Joey, he plays for the Chargers, the team with the lightning bolts. They’re getting ready for somethin’ called “training camp,” sounds tough, like workin’ in the fields all day. But instead of plantin’ corn, they’re plantin’ their feet and learnin’ from a new fella, a coach named Harbaugh. Don’t know much about him, but folks say he’s supposed to be good, make the team win more games, I reckon. Hopefully, he can get Joey to play even better, strong like an ox he is.
Now, about this Amanda girl. They say she’s got a whole bunch of followers, like, 50,000 or somethin’. That’s more folks than live in our whole town! I ain’t got no “followers,” just my chickens and sometimes the neighbor’s dog. They don’t really “follow” me, they mostly just want food. She must be postin’ pictures of fancy food or somethin’, I dunno. They call her an “influencer,” sounds like she’s bossin’ people around, but maybe it just means she takes purdy pictures.

They don’t say much about her, this Amanda. Keepin’ things private, I guess. Probably a good thing, too much gossip these days. Back in my day, you only knew what your neighbor told ya, and sometimes that was too much already. But I heard she’s been Joey’s girl for a long time, so they must be sweet on each other. Good for them, I say. Findin’ someone to share your life with, that’s important, even if she does spend all day lookin’ at that phone thingy.
This Harbaugh fella, I heard he’s got quite the reputation. A real tough guy, makes the fellas work hard. Joey’s gonna have to hustle, that’s for sure. No time for goofin’ around when you got a coach like that breathin’ down your neck. But maybe that’s what Joey needs, a little push, a little somethin’ to get him fired up. He’s a strong boy, that Joey, but even strong boys need a good leader.
So, there ya have it. Joey Bosa, the football star, is gettin’ married. To a girl with a lot of “followers.” They’re gettin’ ready for football season, learnin’ new stuff from a new coach. Life goes on, things change, but some things stay the same. People fall in love, people work hard, and chickens still need feedin’. That’s about it, ain’t much more to say. Wish ’em the best, I do. Hope they’re happy, and hope Joey wins some games for the Chargers. Lord knows they need it.
I reckon that’s enough yakkin’ for one day. My bones are gettin’ tired, and I gotta go make sure them chickens haven’t run off. They’re always lookin’ for trouble, just like those young folks with their “Insta-grams” and whatnots. But hey, that’s life, ain’t it? Always somethin’ goin’ on, always somethin’ to talk about. And now you know all about Joey Bosa gettin’ hitched. You can go tell your friends, if you got any, unlike me and my chickens.
Anyways, good luck to Joey and Amanda! Maybe she’ll post some pictures of the weddin’ on that “Insta-gram,” then I can see what all the fuss is about. But until then, I’ll just stick to feedin’ my chickens and mindin’ my own business. That’s the best way to live, believe you me. Less drama, less fuss, just good, simple livin’.
