Both are hyped up as potential breakout players, but who to actually pick? I decided to dive in and figure it out myself, instead of just listening to those so-called “experts.”
Round 1: Checking Out the Stats
First, I pulled up their stats from last season. Nothing fancy, just the basic stuff like targets, receptions, yards, and touchdowns. I wanted to see how they actually performed when they got the chance. Kincaid, being a rookie, had a decent showing, especially towards the end of the season. Likely, on the other hand, really stepped up when Mark Andrews got hurt. It was like, “Oh, this guy can actually ball!”
Round 2: Watching Some Tape
Next, I spent a good chunk of time watching game film. Yeah, it’s a bit nerdy, but I wanted to see how they were getting those stats. Were they just getting lucky, or were they actually making plays? But if Likely falls to me in a later round, I wouldn’t hesitate to grab him. It’s really that tight. I think both guys have a good shot at being solid fantasy contributors this year.
