Alright, so I’ve been getting a ton of questions about whether UFC 4 has crossplay. I get it, it’s a bummer when you can’t throw down with your buddies on different consoles. So, I decided to really dig in and see what’s what.

First, I fired up my own copy of UFC 4. I usually play on my PlayStation, but a bunch of my friends are on Xbox. We all want to fight against each other.
I started with the obvious, I Jumped into the online multiplayer menus, looking for any sign of a crossplay option. Checked every setting, every mode, nothing.
My Testing
- Tried to invite my friends on Xbox.
- Searched the online friend’s list.
- Looked for any server to turn on for cross-platform.
So, I did some googleing, Sadly, every single source, from gaming news sites to the official EA forums, confirmed my fears: UFC 4 does not have crossplay. My friends on different consoles can’t play against each other.
It’s a real shame, especially since other fighting games are starting to embrace cross-platform play. But, for now, it looks like we’re stuck playing within our own console ecosystems. Maybe it’s updated in the future?
