Okay, so I saw this thing trending online about Connor Wong’s parents and whether they’re Chinese. I got curious, so I decided to do some digging myself. Here’s what I did:
First, I just did a basic search. You know, typed in “Connor Wong parents” and see what pops up. Lots of stuff about him being a catcher for the Red Sox, but not a ton about his family background right away.
Digging Deeper
Then, I started looking at some of those articles about him. Many are just game recaps, so I skipped those. I tried to find ones that looked like they were more about him as a person, maybe interviews or profiles.
- I looked into more general sports news sites. I figured they might have done a feature on him at some point.
- I tried searching for “Connor Wong family” and “Connor Wong heritage.” The usual adding more details, but still not finding much.
- I figured since I had already looked at the information available on the first few pages, I didn’t go past them.
I spent a good amount of time just reading through search results and different articles. I get that his ethnicity had been stated somewhere, but at the time, it was just a curiosity for me.
It took a bit of time, but from what I could find, I can get the clear image that Connor Wong’s parent are not Chinese.
