Alright, let’s talk about this Scarletthorn stuff in Wuthering Waves. So, I needed to get my hands on some decent weapons, and I heard that crafting was the way to go. This Scarletthorn, it’s like the main thing you need to make these 3-star and 4-star weapons. Sounds simple enough, right?
First off, I started by exploring the place where I heard I could find it, it seems we could mine these things. They said to look around the Huanglong map. I found that place. No Scarletthorn at all. That’s when I realized I needed to go somewhere else.
Then I finally found the place where they were. I started mining them. They’re these red rocks, pretty easy to spot once you know what you’re looking for. I went around, just picking them up wherever I saw them. The thing is, they’re scattered all over the place, so it’s a bit of a scavenger hunt. No one was selling them, so I had to go on this little adventure myself.
I managed to gather around 14 of these Scarletthorn ores. Not a bad haul, I thought. But it turns out, to craft just one 3-star weapon, you need 10 of these bad boys. So, all that work, and I could barely make one weapon. And for 4-star weapons, it’s even more of a grind, I guess.
After I had enough, I headed over to this Uncle Wei’s Crafting Table. That’s where the magic happens, they say. Put in your hard-earned Scarletthorn, and you can start crafting. There are about 7 different items you can make with these, but let me tell you, it takes time and a lot of these ores.
My Crafting Results
- First Try: Managed to craft a 3-star sword. Felt pretty good, not gonna lie. But it took me like 10 Scarletthorn, so a lot of my stock was gone already.
- Second Attempt: I tried my luck again, but man, I was short on Scarletthorn. Decided to go on another mining trip. More walking, more searching, you know the drill.
- Future Plans: I think I’m gonna need way more of these ores if I want to craft some serious 4-star weapons. It’s a grind, but I guess that’s the game.
So, that’s my experience with Scarletthorn in Wuthering Waves. It’s a whole process, from finding and mining these ores to finally crafting something useful. You gotta be patient and ready to explore a lot. If you’re planning to craft your own weapons, be prepared for a bit of an adventure!
