Okay, so I saw this “Chunk of Marble” thing on the NYT Mini crossword and thought, “What’s that all about?” I’m not a big crossword person, but the Mini is, like, doable, you know? So I started poking around.

First, I just straight-up tried putting “CHUNK OF MARBLE” into the Mini. Nope. Too many letters, obviously. It gave me a little red error message. Classic me, jumping in headfirst without thinking.
My Process
Then I did the smart thing, which is just the clue into Google, like, “chunk of marble nyt mini”.
- I went to a few crossword solver sites. You know, the kind, you type in clues, and they try to spit out answers.
- I saw some forums where people were talking about the puzzle, but no one had posted it.
- Honestly, it was getting a little frustrating! I just wanted the answer!
Finally, after digging on those solver sites, I saw it, it hited me. The answer. I went back to the NYT Mini. Carefully typed, and it worked!
I’m not gonna lie, I felt pretty accomplished,It’s the little victories, right?
