Alright, so I’ve been meaning to catch one of Joe Rogan’s shows in LA for a while now. I’m a big fan of his podcast, and hearing he’s got these stand-up gigs in town, I figured it was time to see the man in action. Let me tell you, getting these tickets was a bit of a journey, but definitely worth sharing.
First off, I started where everyone starts these days – the internet. I heard that The Comedy Mothership is the main place to go, so I checked out their website. But I found it’s not that easy, especially if you want to catch a show at the last minute. They have instructions on the website but they are not clear at all.
Then, I remembered someone mentioning SeatGeek. I hopped on there, typed in “Joe Rogan Los Angeles,” and bam, a whole list of upcoming shows popped up. The site was pretty user-friendly, with filters for dates, prices, and even the number of tickets. I played around with the filters a bit, trying to find the sweet spot between a good seat and not spending a fortune. I even used that little heart icon to keep track of a few shows I was interested in.
While browsing, I also came across Vivid Seats. They had listings for Joe Rogan’s shows too, and I noticed they had a wider range of dates and venues, including some outside of LA. It was good to compare prices and seating options across different platforms.
- Checked The Comedy Mothership’s website.
- Explored SeatGeek for listings and used filters to narrow down choices.
- Compared options on Vivid Seats for a broader range of dates and venues.
I spent a couple of days going back and forth, checking different websites, and reading up on reviews of the venues. It felt like a bit of a treasure hunt, to be honest. Then I saw a post from someone saying they got to the venue a couple of hours before, they had a standby line. So I did that. I went there a few hours before the show started and waited in the standby line. Finally, I got in! I was able to snag a ticket.
The show itself was fantastic. Joe’s as hilarious in person as he is on his podcast, maybe even more so. The energy in the room was electric, and everyone was having a blast. All in all, it was an awesome experience. If you’re a Joe Rogan fan and you’re in LA, definitely try to catch one of his shows. Just be prepared to put in a little work to get those tickets – but trust me, it’s worth it!
