Well, I tell ya, I been hearin’ a lot ’bout this young feller named Charlie Woods. Now, y’all know his daddy is Tiger Woods, the big golfer. Ain’t that somethin’? A lotta folks been wonderin’ just how tall this young feller is, and let me tell ya, he ain’t small no more. He’s growin’ like a weed! Charlie’s been shootin’ up faster than you’d think, and word on the street is that he’s grown 4 inches just this past year alone. That’s what his daddy, Tiger, been sayin’. If that ain’t a sign he’s gonna be tall like his old man, I don’t know what is!
Now, Charlie’s still just 15 years old, born on February 8th, 2009, down in Florida. Y’all know that’s the same state where they got all that sunshine, but even with all that heat, Charlie’s still growin’ like a storm cloud. His daddy, Tiger Woods, is famous for bein’ one of the best golfers ever, and Charlie, well, he’s followin’ in them big shoes. But don’t you get it twisted, he ain’t just some little feller who gets by on his daddy’s name. This boy’s got speed, got skills, and sure enough, he’s got his own story to tell. I reckon we might be seein’ him on TV doin’ golf one of these days, just like his daddy.
Now, y’see, Tiger Woods, his daddy, has been pretty open about how proud he is of Charlie. Last year, during the PNC Championship, Charlie showed everybody just how fast he could swing that club. He wasn’t just standin’ there, he was swingin’ with all his might, lookin’ like a real pro out there. Tiger was right beside him, coachin’ him, but let me tell ya, Charlie’s got his own fire in his belly. He ain’t just sittin’ around waiting for things to fall in his lap. He’s workin’ hard, and it shows.
But it ain’t just about golf, you know. Charlie Woods, with his tall frame and quick movements, seems like he could probably do more than just hit a ball with a stick. I reckon he could be a good athlete in any sport, but he sure looks like he’s takin’ after his daddy in the golf department. And from the looks of things, he’s got more than just his daddy’s height. He’s got his focus, too. Folks say he’s a chip off the old block.
As for his family, well, Charlie’s got a mama too, named Elin Nordegren. They ain’t together no more, but they still manage to keep things civil. He also got a big sister, Sam Alexis Woods, who’s 17 now. Some folks think that with a big family like that, Charlie’s bound to get plenty of love and support, and that’s probably true. I reckon if I had a family like that, I’d be pretty lucky too.
So, back to how tall this young man is. I reckon if we had to guess, Charlie’s probably standin’ at least 5 feet 9 inches tall now, maybe more, since he’s growin’ so fast. Ain’t no small fry, that’s for sure. He’s still a little bit shorter than his daddy, but who knows how much taller he’ll get. With Tiger being a tall feller himself, we might be seein’ Charlie top out even higher. If he keeps growin’ at this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s over 6 feet tall by the time he’s 18!
It’s hard to say for sure, though, ’cause every kid grows at their own pace. But one thing’s for certain, Charlie Woods is makin’ a name for himself, not just because of his daddy, but ’cause he’s got the right stuff. So, if y’all wanna know how tall he is, well, he’s tall enough to make a lotta people look up to him, both in height and in talent. He’s still young, but I reckon he’s gonna grow up to be somethin’ special.
