Okay, so I was kicking back the other night, flipping through stuff online, and the name Oscar Duarte popped up. I think it was related to that Ryan Garcia fight buzz. Anyway, it got me thinking, I’ve heard the name, but what’s his actual track record like? You know how it is, sometimes you just get curious.

My Process for Digging Up the Record
First thing I did was grab my trusty old tablet. Seemed easier than firing up the whole desktop just for a quick search.
I opened up my usual web browser. Nothing fancy. Went straight to the search bar. My first try, I think I typed something simple like “oscar duarte boxer”. Got a bunch of news articles, pictures, the usual stuff. Not quite what I wanted, which was the hard numbers, the actual record.
So, I refined my search. This time I put in “oscar duarte boxing record list”. That seemed to do the trick better. A few different sites popped up that looked like they specialized in boxing stats.
- Clicked on the first likely-looking result. It was okay, had some info, but was cluttered with ads, kinda annoying.
- Backed out and tried the second one. This one was cleaner. It looked like one of those database-type sites, you know?
This second site laid it out pretty clearly. Showed the totals right up top – wins, losses, draws. Then below that, it had the fight-by-fight breakdown. I scrolled through that for a bit.
Looking Through the Fights
I wasn’t doing a deep dive, just wanted the overview. Saw the number of wins, saw the number of losses. Took specific note of how many wins came by knockout. That always tells you a bit about a fighter’s style, right? Power puncher or not.

I skimmed down the list of opponents. Didn’t recognize all the names, obviously, but saw some familiar ones. Noticed the dates, saw the results for each bout listed – win, loss, draw, and how it ended (KO, TKO, decision, etc.). Spent maybe five minutes just scanning through his history.
Yeah, found what I was looking for. It wasn’t complicated. Just needed to poke around a bit past the basic news headlines. Got a decent picture of his career stats. Satisfied my curiosity for the moment. It’s usually pretty straightforward finding this stuff if you just spend a couple of minutes looking in the right places. Done and dusted.
