Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this “Initium Iani” thing, trying to get all the viewpoints, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I started off pretty clueless, just wandering around this huge map, you know?
First thing I did was hit up that teleport waypoint, the one that’s kind of southeast of Initium Iani. It’s right near the edge of the map, so it wasn’t too hard to find. Once I got there, I started looking around for this first viewpoint. They told me it was on top of a coral reef, and yeah, it was pretty obvious once I saw it. The color really stood out, so I couldn’t miss it. I grabbed that one, feeling pretty good about myself.
- The First Viewpoint
- Location: Southeast of Initium Iani, on a coral reef.
- Easy to spot because of its color.
I thought I was some kind of expert after finding the first one, but then I realized there are, like, 37 of these things scattered all over Fontaine. I found out later that these places only appear after you do this thing called “Ancient Colors”.
Next up, I went to this underwater entrance to some place called the Institute of Natural Philosophy. There was some “Aquaeous Tidemarks” thing I had to do first, but then I could get there. It was this one viewpoint, labeled as Entry 5 or something, I snagged that one too. Then I went back to Guili Plains. I heard about some researcher, I found another viewpoint that was called Entry 7. I collected them all.
- Entry 5
- Location: Underwater entrance of the Institute of Natural Philosophy.
- Need to complete “Aquaeous Tidemarks” first.
- Entry 7: Guili Plains
- Remember to go back to Guili Plains.
I kept exploring, and I found a bunch more, but honestly, it got a bit tedious. But I pushed through. Finally, after what felt like forever, I managed to find all 37 viewpoints. It was a relief, to say the least. I didn’t get any special reward, no special gems or anything, but at least I could say I did it. And I guess the views were pretty cool, too.
My main takeaways from this whole experience:
- There are a ton of these viewpoints, 37 to be exact.
- Some of them only show up after you do certain quests.
- You don’t get any big reward for finding them all, but hey, it’s something to do.
So, that’s my story about hunting down viewpoints in Initium Iani. It was a bit of a grind, but I got it done. Hopefully, my little adventure helps someone out there who’s trying to do the same thing.
