Okay, so lemme tell you about this crazy thing that happened to me on the golf course. Two holes-in-one… back-to-back. Seriously, I’m still trying to wrap my head around it.

It all started like any other round. I get to the course, stretch a bit (you know, gotta try and prevent the ol’ back from seizing up), and head to the first tee. My swing felt okay, nothing special. I parred the first couple of holes, bogeyed the third – typical me.
Then we get to the fourth. It’s a par 3, about 150 yards. I pull out my 7-iron, take a practice swing, and think, “Alright, just hit it solid.” I swing, and the ball feels good coming off the clubface. It’s heading right for the flag… bounces once… and disappears. I’m like, “No freakin’ way!”
My buddies and I pile into the golf cart and drive up to the green. We’re all laughing, joking about how lucky I am. We get to the green, and there it is… sitting right in the bottom of the cup. A freaking hole-in-one! I’m jumping around, high-fiving everyone – pure elation.
Alright, so I’m still buzzing from the first ace as we walk over to the fifth tee. Another par 3, a bit shorter this time, maybe 135 yards. I’m thinking, “Okay, just try to make par. Don’t get greedy.” I grab my 8-iron, take a deep breath, and swing. The ball takes off, a nice little draw right at the pin. One bounce… and PLUNK! It’s in the hole again!
At first, I didn’t even believe it. I stared at the ball mark, then at the hole. My buddies are going absolutely nuts. Screaming, yelling, just total chaos. Two holes-in-one in a row? What are the odds? It felt like something out of a movie.
We get to the green, and sure enough, another ball in the hole. I’m just standing there, laughing my head off. What else can you do? We celebrated pretty hard after that round, let me tell you. The beers tasted extra good that day.
Seriously, two aces in a row. I don’t think I’ll ever top that.
So yeah, that’s my story. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket.
- First Hole-in-One: 7-iron, 150 yards
- Second Hole-in-One: 8-iron, 135 yards
I almost forgot! I did save the golf balls for posterity. Gonna frame ’em or something.
