Okay, so, a while back I got super into this virtual YouTuber, Rushia, right? She’s part of Hololive, totally adorable, and I just had to have something of hers. So, I started looking around for merch and stuff. Posters, keychains, the usual. But then I saw it – the Rushia Nendoroid. I knew I needed it.
First off, I checked the usual spots, you know, the big online stores, but no luck. Out of stock everywhere or way overpriced. Then I went to the official Good Smile Company site. Still nothing. It felt like everyone and their mom wanted this Nendoroid too. I did not give up though.
I started hitting up some forums and online communities that were all about Nendoroids and Hololive. Posted a few “looking to buy” messages, hoping someone might have one they were willing to part with. Got a couple of leads, but they fell through. Either the prices were insane, or they were not even legit.
Then, one day, I stumbled upon this tiny online shop, that I had never heard of. They had the Rushia Nendoroid listed, and the price was actually reasonable. I was a bit skeptical, not gonna lie. I mean, I had never bought from them before, and the deal seemed almost too good to be true. But I was desperate.
I decided to take a chance and placed an order. I made sure to pay with a method that offered some buyer protection, just in case. Now the waiting game began. I must’ve checked my email like a hundred times a day, waiting for that shipping confirmation. It took a few days, but then it finally came. They sent me a tracking number and everything.
I tracked that package like a hawk. Every update, I was on it. It took a couple of weeks to arrive, and during that time, I was a nervous wreck. But then, finally, the delivery day came.
Unboxing Time!
I ripped open that box so fast. Inside, nestled all safe and sound in bubble wrap, was the Rushia Nendoroid. It was perfect. All the little details, her signature outfit, the different face plates, everything was there. I was so excited, I immediately started setting her up, trying out different poses and expressions.
- First, I tried the classic pose with her normal face.
- Then, I switched to the angry face, it was hilarious.
- Finally, I put her in the crying pose, super cute.
I spent the rest of the day just admiring it and taking a ton of pictures. I even made a little display area for her on my shelf. It was totally worth all the trouble.
So yeah, that’s the story of how I got my hands on the Rushia Nendoroid. It was a bit of a journey, but in the end, I was super happy with it. Now I’ve got a little piece of Rushia in my room, and it always makes me smile when I see it.
