Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a piece of UFC history for a while now, specifically that awesome UFC 189: Mendes vs. McGregor poster. You know, the one with all the fighters’ signatures? Yeah, that’s the one.
I started by searching online, you know, just browsing around to see what my options were.
- First, I looked for any official UFC merchandise stores that might have it.
- Then, I checked out some auction sites, thinking maybe someone was selling a used one.
It turns out these posters are pretty rare. Not many were made, and even fewer are up for sale. But I wasn’t giving up that easily.
After some more digging, I found out about this place called UFC Collectibles. It’s like the official spot for legit UFC memorabilia. They had some info about the UFC 189 poster. It’s a “specially designed piece,” they said. Fancy, right?
I also saw a couple of listings for replica posters. They looked okay, printed and framed, all nice and neat. One was 9 x 13, which seemed a bit small, but hey, it’s a replica.
But then, I stumbled upon something even better. This one seller had a rare 1/1 UFC 189 poster. Can you believe it? One of a kind! It was bigger too, 27×39, and it also featured the Lawler vs. Rory fight. This was it! The real deal.
Getting My Hands on the Poster
I contacted the seller right away. We messaged back and forth a bit, and I finally pulled the trigger and bought it. It wasn’t cheap, let me tell you, but totally worth it.
When the poster finally arrived, I was stoked. It was even better in person. I carefully unwrapped it, making sure not to damage it. It’s now proudly displayed in my home, a constant reminder of that epic UFC 189 event.
So yeah, that’s my story of how I got my hands on this awesome UFC 189 poster. It was a bit of a journey, but totally worth the effort. Now I have a unique piece of UFC history that I can cherish forever.
