Alright, guys, so I wanted to share my experience on how I finally managed to earn two Lightbringers in Dead by Daylight. It was a bit of a grind, but totally worth it in the end!

Getting Started
>
First things first, I hopped into a few matches just to get a feel for the current game state. You know, see what killers were popular, what perks survivors were running, the usual. I noticed a lot of people were playing pretty aggressively, so I figured I’d need to adjust my strategy accordingly.
The Experimentation Phase
I started by trying out a few different survivor builds. I messed around with some gen-focused perks, like Prove Thyself and Resilience, thinking I could just power through the generators and get out. That… didn’t work so well. I kept getting found and chased off gens, and my teammates weren’t always the most reliable.
- Build 1: Gen Rush (Prove Thyself, Resilience, Spine Chill, Kindred) – Failed miserably.
- Build 2: Stealth (Iron Will, Urban Evasion, Lightweight, Quick & Quiet) – Slightly better, but still not consistent.
The “Aha!” Moment
Then, I decided to try something a little different. I switched to a more altruistic build, focusing on helping my teammates and getting those unhooks and heals. I figured if I could keep everyone else alive and working on gens, that would indirectly contribute to my Lightbringer emblem.
The Key Build
Here’s what I ended up using:

- We’ll Make It: For super-fast heals after unhooking.
- Borrowed Time: To protect the unhooked survivor.
- Botany Knowledge: More healing speed.
- Kindred:So every one can see each other.
Putting It into Practice
With this build, I focused on staying relatively close to the action, but not directly in it. I’d wait for the killer to chase someone, then swoop in for the unhook. After that, I’d heal them up super quick with We’ll Make It and Botany Knowledge. I would touch some of the gen progress. Rinse and repeat.
It took a few games to get the hang of it, but I started to see a significant improvement in my Lightbringer emblem progress. I was consistently getting at least one, and sometimes even two, per match.
It worked finally!
Finally, the emblem popped! After a couple nights with it, I managed to get both two Lightbringers. Felt so good!
It was a bit of trial and error, but that’s what makes it fun, right? Keep at it, and you’ll get there!
