Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about these Brooke sisters, Elle and Emily. Heard a whole lotta fuss about ’em on the TV, you know, the one with the pictures that move. Seems like they’re into this boxin’ thing. Boxing, imagine that! Two gals punchin’ each other. Now, I ain’t never seen nothin’ like that in my day, back when we just worked the fields and minded our own business.
Anyways, this Elle girl, she’s apparently a big deal on somethin’ called “OnlyFans.” Don’t ask me what that is, sounds like somethin’ fancy city folk do. But she sure likes to box, or at least that’s what they say. Fought some other gal named Paige, and it ended up a draw. A draw! Means nobody won, I guess. Waste of time if you ask me.
- They say Elle’s last fight was a draw. Imagine that, all that punchin’ and no winner.
- And this Emily, she’s Elle’s sister, I think. They wanted them to fight each other! Sisters fightin’! That ain’t right. Families should stick together, not beat each other up.
Then there’s this whole “Kingpyn” tournament. Sounds important, I reckon, with all the fancy names and whatnot. Both of the sisters, they lost their fights. Yep, lost! All that trainin’ and they still couldn’t win. Elle lost to some gal named Jully, and I ain’t got a clue who Emily lost to. People were makin’ a big deal about it, talkin’ on that Twitter thing. Twitter, another one of them city things. Folks just gossipin’ all day long, it seems.
Now, they were talkin’ about Elle fightin’ Emily in some kind of losers bracket. Can you believe it? Sisters punchin’ each other! Thankfully, Elle said no. She ain’t gonna fight her sister. Good for her, I say. Family’s more important than some silly boxin’ match. She’s gonna take a break, they said. Good, she needs a rest. All that punchin’ can’t be good for ya.
They talk about Elle’s “boxing debut,” like it’s some big event. She won that one, apparently. But who cares, I say. It’s just a bunch of punchin’ and fuss. Back in my day, we had real work to do. No time for such nonsense. And this thing about Elle being a “social media influencer,” what in the world does that even mean? Just a bunch of fancy words for nothin’ if you ask me.
Seems like nobody knows much about their family. No mention of their ma and pa, or any other brothers and sisters. Maybe they got ’em, maybe they don’t. City folk are funny that way, keepin’ everything so private. We always knew everyone in our town. You couldn’t sneeze without Mrs. Henderson knowin’ about it. Family is important, that’s what I always say. Whether they are famous or not.
So, these Brooke sisters, Elle and Emily, they’re boxin’, and losin’, and talkin’ about not fightin’ each other. Sounds like a whole lotta drama to me. I’d rather just stick to my garden and my chickens. At least they don’t punch back. But hey, that’s just my two cents. These city folk, they got their ways, and I got mine. As long as they ain’t hurtin’ nobody, I guess it don’t matter much.
But seriously, sisters fightin’? That just ain’t right. Glad Elle put a stop to that nonsense. Hope they find somethin’ better to do with their time than punchin’ each other. Maybe they could learn to knit or somethin’. Now, that’s a useful skill.
And all this talk about “OnlyFans” and “social media influencers”… Just sounds like a whole lotta nothin’ to me. Work hard, be kind to your family, and that’s all that matters. That’s what my mama always told me, and it’s good enough for me.
