Alright, so I gotta talk about this whole Cy Woods baseball schedule thing. You see, my nephew, he’s super into baseball, always has been. So, naturally, I try to keep up with his team’s schedule, you know, be the cool uncle and all that.
First thing I did was hit up the usual spots online, places like “sblivesports” and “scorebooklive.” They usually have the schedules for most teams, and sure enough, they had Cy Woods listed there. Easy peasy, right?
But then, things got a little interesting. I saw some updates about their games. Apparently, there was this one game that was supposed to be played at Bridgeland, but they moved it to Cy Woods instead. Same time, just a different place. Good to know, I guess. I made a note of that on my calendar, just to be safe.
And get this, they even had some scrimmages for the younger teams that got canceled and moved to another day. Something about the weather, which is pretty common around here. They said they hoped the weather would cooperate, which, let’s be honest, it rarely does when you want it to.
I also stumbled upon some social media stuff, this one account, “cywoodsbaseball212,” was posting about the team. They had a post telling folks to go out to Cy Ranch and catch the last bit of Wildcat baseball during Spring Break. It’s a good idea, I wrote it down as a reminder for my nephew and I.
Important Dates
- May 25th: That’s when they had Game 1 against Rockwall-Heath over at Baylor Ballpark.
- May 26th: Game 2, also against Rockwall-Heath, the very next day.
I made sure to mark those down, especially since they were playing at Baylor Ballpark. That’s a bit of a drive, so I wanted to plan ahead.
So yeah, that’s pretty much my whole adventure with the Cy Woods baseball schedule. It wasn’t too crazy, but it definitely took a bit of digging around to get all the info. Now, I’m all set to keep up with my nephew’s games and maybe even catch a few myself. We’ll see how the weather holds up, though!
