Okay, so today I wanted to share my experience using Edge with Lita. It’s not something I talk about often, but it’s a big part of my personal history, and I think there’s some good stuff in there.
First off, I got into this whole thing years ago. It all started when I was messing around with my computer and came across Microsoft Edge. I’d heard a bit about it but never really gave it a shot. I decided to give it a try and explore some of the built-in features.
Immersive Reader
Immersive Reader is one of the first things I tried. It’s pretty cool because it simplifies web pages and makes them easier to read. I played around with the text size, font, and spacing options, and I found it to be a lot easier on the eyes, especially for long articles. It also has a read-aloud feature, which I thought was neat. I could just listen to the article while doing other stuff.
Citations
Next, I discovered the Citations tool. This was a game-changer for me. It helps you automatically create citations for the stuff you’re reading online. I used it a bunch of times for different things, and it saved me so much time. You just click a button, and it generates a citation in whatever format you need, like MLA, APA, or whatever. No more manually formatting that stuff!
Vertical Tabs
I also started using vertical tabs. I used to have a million tabs open across the top of my browser, and it was a mess. With vertical tabs, they’re all lined up on the side, which is way more organized. I could easily switch between them and group related tabs together. It made my browsing so much smoother.
A Personal Note
Now, here’s where Lita comes in. Back in the day, we were both into wrestling. We used to be friends, and we even had some storylines together on TV. One time, there was this whole thing where she was supposed to be pregnant in the show. It was all just for the story, but we ended up becoming close friends during that time. We had a lot of fun together, and I have some good memories of those days.
Back to Edge
Anyway, back to Edge. I kept using it and exploring more features. I found that I could customize the start page with all my favorite stuff, and it made things super convenient. I also liked that I could import my bookmarks from other browsers, so I didn’t have to start from scratch.
Blocking Unwanted Sites
Another thing I did was block some websites that I didn’t want to see anymore. It was pretty easy to do, and it helped me focus on what I actually wanted to use the internet for. No more distractions from those annoying sites!
Final Thoughts
So, yeah, that’s my story about using Edge with Lita. It’s a mix of tech stuff and personal memories. I still use Edge today, and I think it’s a pretty solid browser. And as for Lita, we’re still friends, even though we’re not as close as we used to be. We’ve both moved on and done our own things, but I’ll always remember those times we had together. Life’s funny like that, you know? You never know where it’s gonna take you.
