Alright, let’s talk about this here FIU versus Western Kentucky game, or whatever they call it. I ain’t no fancy expert, but I can tell ya what I see, you know? This here game, it’s gonna be one of them… football games, yeah, that’s it. Saturday, November 25th, down in Miami, at that Riccardo Silva Stadium place. Sounds fancy, huh?
Now, they got these two teams, see? Western Kentucky Hilltoppers, they sound like some kinda mountain folk. And then there’s the FIU Panthers, like them big cats down in the jungle, or somethin’. The Hilltoppers, they got themselves six wins and five losses, that’s pretty good, I guess. The Panthers, well, they ain’t doin’ so hot, only four wins and seven losses. Heard tell they lost six games in their conference, CUSA, or whatever they call it. Hilltoppers did better in that CUSA thing, four wins and three losses, I think.
So, if you ask me, and nobody ever does, but I’m tellin’ ya anyway, the Hilltoppers seem like the stronger bunch. They beat that Sam Houston team last time, 28 to 23. Close game, but a win’s a win, right? The Panthers, I don’t know who they been beatin’, probably not nobody important. Seems they let folks score a lot too, like 31 points a game on average. Hilltoppers ain’t much better though, lettin’ folks score 28 points or so. Still, sounds like the Hilltoppers got a bit more grit.
- Game: Western Kentucky Hilltoppers vs FIU Panthers

- Location: Riccardo Silva Stadium, Miami
Now, some of them smart fellas with their computin’ machines, they say the Hilltoppers got a real good chance of winnin’, like 78% chance or somethin’. That’s high, real high. Leaves the Panthers with just a little 22% chance. Poor cats, don’t stand much of a hope, do they? But hey, that’s just what them machines say. Sometimes them machines are wrong, like that time my washing machine ate my socks, said it was my fault.
Anyways, back to this here football. These Hilltoppers, they like to score, seems like. And the Panthers, they let folks score. That ain’t a good mix for the Panthers, I tell ya. If they wanna win, they gotta stop them Hilltoppers from runnin’ around like chickens with their heads cut off. And they gotta score some points themselves, more than 28, that’s for sure. Maybe they can sneak a win if the Hilltoppers have a bad day, you know, like if they all ate bad chili before the game.
I heard tell this game is gonna be on somethin’ called ESPN+. Sounds fancy, but I don’t got none of that fancy TV stuff. I’ll just wait for the newspaper, or maybe that nice young fella down the street will tell me about it. He always knows what’s goin’ on with them sports.
So, my prediction? Well, it ain’t rocket science, even I can see it. Western Kentucky is gonna win this one. They just seem stronger, tougher, and they got more wins. The Panthers, well, they need a miracle, or maybe a whole lotta luck. But hey, in football, anything can happen, right? That’s what they always say, but I don’t always believe it. Most times the better team wins, simple as that.
And that’s all I gotta say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed my chickens. They’re probably hungrier than them Panthers are for a win. And let me tell you, feeding chickens is a whole lot easier than predicting these here football games, even if everyone and their dog is talkin’ about “fiu vs western kentucky prediction.” You just scatter some feed and they go to town. No fancy strategies or nothin’. Just good ol’ chicken feed. Maybe that’s what the Panthers need, some good ol’ chicken feed… or maybe just some better players.
Final score prediction? Well, I ain’t no good at guessin’ numbers, but I’ll say the Hilltoppers win by, let’s see… more than a touchdown, that’s for sure. Maybe somethin’ like 35 to 20. Yeah, that sounds about right. But don’t go bettin’ your house on it, alright? I’m just an old woman, what do I know about football?
Now, go on, get outta here and let me get back to my business. And remember, root for whoever you want, but don’t be surprised if them Hilltoppers come out on top. They just seem like the kinda team that gets the job done, you know? Not flashy, not fancy, just good, solid football. And that’s usually enough to win these games, especially against a team that’s been losin’ more than they’ve been winnin’. That’s all there is to it, really.
