Okay, here’s my take on sharing my experience with “Black Myth: Wukong” on the PS5, written in a casual, blog-style format, focusing on the action and process:

Alright, so I finally got my hands on Black Myth: Wukong for the PS5. Been hyped for this game for, like, forever.
Getting Started
First thing I did? Unboxed that bad boy. Seriously, the box art alone is killer. I popped the disc in, and, you know, the usual – waited for the install. Took a bit, but hey, worth it.
Diving In
Once it was ready, I fired it up. The opening cinematic? Mind-blowing. The detail, the music, everything. Seriously, it sets the mood perfectly.
I jumped straight into the gameplay. The controls felt pretty intuitive right away. Basic attacks, dodging, jumping – it all felt natural. I spent the first little while just getting used to moving Wukong around, testing out his staff moves.
- I tried some basic combos.
- Did light attack, light attack, heavy attack.
- I tried to find the perfect rhythm.
Exploring the World
Then, I started exploring. The world is gorgeous. Seriously, the environments are insane. I spent a good chunk of time just wandering around, taking in the scenery. Ran into some smaller enemies early on – good practice for getting the combat down.

The combat… oh man, the combat. It’s challenging, but in a good way. You can’t just button-mash your way through. I found myself really needing to learn enemy attack patterns, figure out the best time to dodge and parry, and then strike.
Boss Battles?
I haven’t hit any of the major bosses yet, which I have seen in the game trailer, but the mini-bosses I’ve encountered were already pretty tough. One of them, some kind of giant… wolf-thing… took me a few tries to beat. I really did some research on how to defeat it.
Had to learn its moves, be patient, and find the right openings.
My overall feeling
So far? Loving it. It’s the kind of game that makes you want to keep playing, keep exploring, keep getting better. I’m definitely hooked. I can feel that I will spend more time to finish all stages and try to get all the trophies.

I’ve only scratched the surface, I can tell. Gonna keep playing, and maybe I’ll share some more thoughts later on, especially after I take down some of those crazy-looking bosses!
