Alright, so I’ve been hooked on Monster Hunter Now, that new mobile game, you know? And like any good mobile game, it’s got this referral code thing. Figured I’d mess around with it and see if I could score some freebies, and maybe help some buddies out too.
Getting Started
First thing I did was, obviously, download the game. Got it installed, went through the tutorial, all that jazz. Once I was in, I poked around the menus looking for anything that said “referral” or “invite” or something like that.
Finding My Code
It took a bit of digging, I’ll be honest. It wasn’t super obvious. Ended up finding it in my profile settings. There was this little button that said “Invite Friends,” and boom, there was my referral code. Nice and simple, just a string of letters and numbers.
Sharing the Love (and the Loot)
So, I copied that code and started blasting it out. Texted a few friends who I thought might be into it, posted it on my social media, that kind of thing. Just a quick “Hey, check out this game, use my code if you sign up!” message.
The app gives the option to share with a button. But I prefered copy and share on social media.
Did it work?
- I had to explain a couple of my friends where the code was entered. It’s on the “Enter Referral Code” screen, right after you pick your starting weapon.
And that’s pretty much it! It was a straightforward process, and hopefully, I get many referral rewards. I’ll update you on the progress, and whether it is worth spending more energy inviting players, as I love hunting monsters!
