Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into Honkai: Star Rail lately, and with Firefly on the horizon, I knew I had to get my prefarm on. I mean, who doesn’t want to be ready for a new character drop? Here’s how my little adventure went.

Figuring Out the Materials
First things first, I needed to figure out what Firefly actually needs. This is where it got a little messy. I jumped onto some wikis and community forums, trying to piece together a shopping list. I quickly learned that Firefly will use the “Raging Heart” item. I cross-referenced a few sources just to be sure, because, you know, misinformation is a thing.
The Grind Begins
With my list in hand, I started, well, the grind. I had to defeat the new boss located in Penacony, I already had this area unlocked, so it was just a matter of teleporting and fighting. I kept at it, battling, collecting. I spent, like, a solid hour just going back and forth, repeating the same battles over and over.
It wasn’t exactly glamorous, but hey, that’s the game, right?
- Fight the boss: locate and teleport to the boss, start the fight.
- Collect “Raging Heart”: I kept my eye on the prize, making sure I grabbed every drop.
- Repeat: Over and over. It’s a grind, but someone’s gotta do it!
Checking My Stash
After a while, I decided to take a break and check my inventory. I opened up the character screen, went to the ascension materials tab, and…yup, there they were. A decent pile of “Raging Heart”, and “Tatters of Thought”. It wasn’t enough to fully max Firefly out on day one, but it was a solid start.

Back at It (Tomorrow!)
I’m not stopping there, of course. I’ll be back at it tomorrow, probably spend another hour or two chipping away at those requirements. My goal is to have everything I need so that when Firefly finally drops, I can level her up instantly and start wreaking havoc. Because let’s be honest, that’s the best part of getting a new character.
So, yeah, that’s my Firefly prefarm story so far. It’s not rocket science, it’s just a bit of dedication and a whole lot of repetitive battles. But in the end, it’ll all be worth it when I’m running around with a fully powered Firefly. Bring on the fire!
