Okay, so I’ve been messing around with my fantasy football lineup, and I’m stuck on this one decision: Lockett or Mike Williams? It’s a total headache, both are good, making this hard.

First, I pulled up their stats from the last few games. You know, just to get a feel for how they’ve been doing recently. Lockett’s been pretty consistent, getting a decent number of targets and yards. But he hasn’t had a huge breakout game in a while.
Then, I checked out Mike Williams. He’s more of a boom-or-bust kind of guy, right? Some games he’s totally quiet, others he explodes for like, two touchdowns and a bunch of yards. It’s so freaking unpredictable!
Digging Deeper
So, just looking at recent games wasn’t enough. I started looking at their matchups. Who are they playing this week? Are the cornerbacks any good? That kind of stuff. Lockett’s playing a team that’s been pretty tough against wide receivers. Hmmm.
Williams, on the other hand, is up against a team that’s been giving up some serious points to receivers. That’s tempting, super tempting, It gets you thinking about that big-play potential.
The Gut Feeling
- Lockett: Steady, reliable, but maybe not a game-winner.
- Williams: Risky, could be amazing, could also be a total dud.
Honestly, after going back and forth for like, an hour, I still wasn’t sure, finally, I closed my eyes, and picked one, and I went with Williams, just decided to go with my gut. I’m feeling lucky, I guess. Maybe he’ll have one of those monster games. Or maybe I’ll be kicking myself on Monday. We’ll see, huh? This is what it’s all about with fantasy football. The painful, overthinking every small thing. Wish me luck!
