Okay, here is a blog post about my experience getting a George Saint Pierre tattoo, written in the style you requested:
So, I finally did it. I got that George Saint Pierre tattoo I’d been thinking about for ages. You know, GSP, the MMA fighter? Yeah, that guy. Always been a huge fan, and I figured, why not? It’s my body, right?
First, I spent like a week just staring at pictures of the dude online. I mean, I’ve seen all his fights, but I wanted to get a real good look at his own ink. He’s got that kanji on his chest that says “jiu-jitsu,” and then that fleur-de-lis thing on his calf. Classic stuff.
Next up, I had to find a tattoo artist. This was a big deal. I didn’t want some random dude messing up my skin, you know? I asked around, checked out a bunch of portfolios online, and finally settled on this guy named Mark at a shop downtown. His work looked clean, and he seemed to get what I was going for.
I went in for a consultation, showed him some pics of GSP, and we talked about what I wanted. I decided to go with the kanji, just like GSP. I mean, the dude’s a legend in jiu-jitsu, and that’s something I’m into too. Seemed fitting.
The day of the tattoo, I was pretty pumped. Mark prepped the area, put on the stencil, and I made sure it looked right. Then, the buzzing started. Didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would, honestly. It was more like a weird scratching sensation. Took about an hour, maybe a little more.
- Looked at GSP’s fights online forever.
- Found a tattoo artist, Mark, who seemed legit.
- Went in, talked about the design, and picked the kanji.
- Got the tattoo. It wasn’t that bad.
Aftercare
After it was done, Mark cleaned it up, wrapped it, and gave me the whole spiel about aftercare. You know, keep it clean, use the ointment, don’t scratch it. All that jazz. I followed his instructions to the letter, and it healed up perfectly.
Now, I’ve got this awesome GSP-inspired kanji tattoo on my chest. Every time I look at it, it reminds me of his dedication, his skill, and just how much of a badass he is. Plus, it’s a pretty sweet piece of ink, if I do say so myself. Pretty stoked about how it all turned out.
