Okay, so today I decided to tackle something a bit different – a tech crossword puzzle, specifically one focused on “exec in tech.” I thought it would be a fun little brain teaser, and maybe I’d even learn something new. Here’s how it went down:

First, I found a crossword puzzle online. I just googled “exec in tech crossword” and a bunch of options popped up. I picked one that looked challenging but not impossible.
I printed it out – yeah, I’m old school like that. I like to have a physical copy to scribble on. Plus, it feels more satisfying to fill in the boxes with a pen.
Getting Stuck (and Unstuck)
I started with the clues I knew right away. You know, the easy ones that just pop into your head. I filled in those, feeling pretty good about myself.
Then, of course, I hit a wall. There were a few clues that I just couldn’t figure out. I stared at them for a good while, wracking my brain.
No shame in admitting it, I resorted to Google for a couple of the really tough ones. I’d type in the clue, maybe add “tech term” or “executive role” to narrow it down. Sometimes it worked like a charm, other times I had to dig a little deeper.

- One clue that stumped me for a while was something about a “Chief ____ Officer”. I knew it was a tech role, but I couldn’t remember the exact term. Turns out, it was “Chief Information Officer”.
- Another one was about a type of software development methodology. I had a vague idea, but a quick search confirmed it was “Agile”.
Finishing with a Flourish!
After a bit of back-and-forth, some educated guessing, and yes, a little help from the internet, I finally managed to complete the whole thing! It was a pretty good feeling, scribbling in that last letter and seeing all the boxes filled.
Honestly, it was a fun way to spend some time. I might even make this a regular thing. It’s like a mini-workout for your brain, and who knows, I might actually learn some useful tech jargon along the way!
