Okay, so, today I’m gonna talk about something that’s been taking up a lot of my free time lately – collecting baseball cards. Specifically, I’ve been on the hunt for Evan Carter cards. Yeah, I know, I know, it’s not exactly curing cancer, but it’s been a fun little project.
I started by, you know, just poking around online. I hit up all the usual spots, looking for anything Evan Carter. At first, it was a bit overwhelming. There are, like, a million different cards out there, different brands, different years, it’s crazy! But I figured, hey, gotta start somewhere, right?
So I started with the 2023 Topps Now series. I managed to snag a couple of those, including the #839 and #958 cards. They’re pretty cool because they’re from his rookie year. One of them even mentions his MLB debut. The other card has a limited print run of just 1679 copies, which makes it a bit more special, I guess.

After that, I started branching out. I found out that there are at least 22 sets that have Evan Carter cards! Who knew? I was scrolling through some online shops, and they had so many options. Some of these cards have his autograph, which is pretty awesome. Those are definitely on my wishlist.
Diving Deeper
Then things got a little more serious. I found this one card, the 2024 Topps Update #US58, and the prices for it are all over the place. Turns out, people are really into these things, and the prices change like every day. They even have some fancy way of tracking the prices based on past sales. It’s a whole thing, I’m telling you.
Anyway, I also found this limited edition rookie card, only 999 copies made. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s tempting. I mean, it’s a “piece of baseball history,” as they say. I haven’t pulled the trigger on that one yet, but it’s definitely on my radar.
So yeah, that’s where I’m at with my Evan Carter baseball card adventure. It’s been a fun ride so far, and I’m learning a lot. Who knows where it’ll take me next? Maybe I’ll end up with a whole binder full of these things. Or maybe I’ll just get bored and move on to something else. We’ll see!
