Well, I reckon if y’all been watchin’ them baseball games, y’know the name Dylan Cease. He’s the tall fella pitchin’ for them White Sox, real good at what he does, throwin’ them fastballs like nobody’s business. But I heard folks talkin’ ’bout his personal life too, and they’s all curious about who he’s got by his side. Some folks been wonderin’ if he’s got a wife, so let me tell ya what I know.
Now, Dylan Cease, he’s not married, not as of now anyway. I don’t know if he’s lookin’ to settle down yet, but he sure got himself a pretty gal named Rebekah Haynes. They met just last year, and it seems like they’re doin’ alright, happy as two peas in a pod. Ain’t no wife in the picture, just this lady he’s been spendin’ time with. I reckon he’s busy with his career and all, so maybe he ain’t got no rush to walk down that aisle just yet. But I’ll tell ya, that Rebekah, she’s quite the gal.
Now, Dylan Cease, he ain’t just some baseball player. No, sir. He’s got all sorts of interests. Did you know he’s real into disc golf? Yup, you heard me right! Now, I ain’t no expert in that sport myself, but I hear tell he’s pretty good at it. He’s even teamed up with some big shot in that sport, Paul McBeth. Together, they bought themselves some land, and they’re buildin’ a couple disc golf courses. That’s a whole other hobby of his, apart from throwin’ them fastballs on the mound. Ain’t that somethin’?
And let me tell ya somethin’ else about Dylan Cease. He’s real big on mindfulness. Now, I don’t know all the fancy terms for it, but from what I gather, he spends some time just thinkin’ things over, calm-like. It’s good for the mind, I suppose. Helps keep him focused when he’s pitchin’ and all. Y’know, sometimes in life, we get all worked up, but it sounds like Dylan knows how to keep his head clear. Maybe that’s why he’s so good at what he does, huh?
Now, folks always ask why Dylan wears the number 84 on his jersey. Well, there’s a reason for that too. It’s ’cause of them 84 asanas. I won’t pretend I know what them asanas are exactly, but it’s some kind of yoga thing. Seems like it means somethin’ to him, so that’s why he chose that number. It’s all about what makes a person feel good, I suppose.
And Dylan, he ain’t no stranger to a bit of hard luck either. You might not know this, but when he was still a young fella, back in high school, he was on his way to playin’ for Vanderbilt University. Real good pitcher, throwin’ some fast stuff. But then, as it happens sometimes, he got hurt, hurt his elbow bad. Had to go through that Tommy John surgery, which, I hear, ain’t no easy thing. But Dylan, he pushed through it. He still got drafted by the Cubs and signed for a good bit of money, $1.5 million, they say. That’s a lot of money in anyone’s book.
Now, don’t go thinkin’ that just because he’s good at baseball, he don’t have any other talents. ‘Cause Dylan Cease, he’s got other interests too, like that disc golf thing I mentioned. And even though he’s got all that fame and money now, he still stays grounded, always keeps a level head. I reckon that’s why he’s makin’ a name for himself, both on and off the field.
So, in case you were wonderin’, no, Dylan Cease ain’t married. But he’s got a lady in his life, and they seem to be happy. He’s also got a lot of other things keepin’ him busy, from his disc golf ventures to his mindfulness practices. Seems like a good fella all around, if you ask me.
