Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole “DST” thing on PrizePicks, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I figured I’d share my experience, you know, just in case anyone else is scratching their heads like I was.

First off, I started by just picking random defenses. Yeah, bad idea. I mean, sometimes it worked out, but mostly it was just a crapshoot. I was basically throwing darts blindfolded.
Then, I decided to actually, you know, think about it. I started looking at matchups. Who’s playing who? Which offenses are terrible? Which defenses are actually good, not just big names?
Digging into the Stats
- I started paying attention to things like sacks, interceptions… you know, the stuff that actually gets you points.
- I also started to look at how many points a team was giving up on average. A low-scoring offense is a DST’s best friend.
It’s not rocket science, but it’s definitely more involved than I initially thought. It’s all about information and use that do some educated guessing, to make a choice.
After doing all that, I picked better teams and made more reasonable choices. I felt more confident in my * there’s always that element of luck, I believe I have increased the winning rate.
So, that’s my PrizePicks DST journey so far. It’s a constant learning process, and I’m definitely still figuring things out. Hopefully, this little ramble helps someone out there!
