Alright, let’s talk about them football fellas, the ones from Dortmund and that Leipzig bunch. You know, the fellas who kick the ball around. I watched ’em play, and I’m gonna tell ya who was good and who wasn’t worth a lick.
Borussia Dortmund, yeah, those yellow and black ones.
- Goalie, that fella Kobel: He was alright, I guess. Stopped some balls, let some others in. Sometimes he looked like he knew what he was doin’, other times, not so much. I’d say he’s a solid “okay,” you know? Maybe a bit better than okay when they really needed him. He gets a “pretty good” from me.
- The fellas runnin’ around in the back: They had their moments, but that Leipzig team, they got through sometimes, didn’t they? Made some mistakes, but also kicked the ball far when they needed to. A mixed bag, them fellas. Let’s just say they weren’t terrible, but they weren’t the best I’ve seen.
- The midfield fellas, the ones in the middle: They did a lot of runnin’, I tell ya. Passin’ the ball, chasin’ the ball, sometimes losin’ the ball. One of ’em even kicked it in the net, which was nice. They worked hard, I’ll give ’em that. But sometimes, they just seemed to be running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Needed to be a bit smarter, I think.
- The fellas up front, the ones tryin’ to score: They had some chances, scored a goal or two. But sometimes, they just weren’t quick enough, you know? Like they were runnin’ in mud or somethin’. Needed to be a bit more… lively, I guess. One of them young fellas did alright though, scored a goal, made some good runs.
Now, for them RB Leipzig fellas, the ones with the bulls on their shirts.
- That goalie of theirs: He wasn’t bad. Made some saves, kept them in the game sometimes. But he also let one or two slip by, didn’t he? So, he’s like the other goalie, pretty good, not great. Just doin’ his job, I reckon.
- The fellas in the back for Leipzig: They were tough, them fellas. Didn’t let Dortmund get through easy all the time. Strong, like a good fence post. But sometimes, they got caught out of position, you know? Like they were daydreamin’ about somethin’ else. Overall, they were alright.
- Them Leipzig midfield fellas: They were quick, I tell ya. Passin’ the ball around, makin’ plays. One of ’em, that young fella, he was real good. Reminded me of a jackrabbit, always hoppin’ around. They were good at getting the ball up to their strikers. They were probably the best part of the team.
- The fellas up front for Leipzig, the ones tryin’ to score: They were alright, I guess. Scored some goals, missed some chances. One of ‘em, he seemed real good, always causin’ trouble for the Dortmund fellas. But the others, they were just so-so. Needed to be a bit more… I don’t know… more somethin’. They just needed to put the ball in the net more often, that’s what they needed.
So, who was better? Well, it’s hard to say, ain’t it? Both teams had their good moments, both teams had their bad moments. Dortmund, they won at home, which is good for them folks in the yellow and black. But Leipzig, they gave ‘em a run for their money, that’s for sure.
In my opinion, Dortmund’s fellas like that Kobel in the goal and some of the young fellas up front, they did alright. Leipzig, they got some good ones too, especially in the middle of the field. But at the end of the day, it’s just a game, right? Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. These fellas, they all tried hard, I reckon. That’s all you can ask for, I guess. They ran around, kicked the ball, and hopefully, they had some fun doin’ it. And that’s what matters, ain’t it? Just having a good time, even if you don’t always win.
Speaking of winning, Dortmund’s been winning all their home games this year, they say. That’s something, ain’t it? Makes their fans happy, I bet. Leipzig, they got some good players too, like that Openda fella and that Simons fella. They’re quick and tricky, hard to catch. But Dortmund, they found a way to win, even though they got some fellas hurt. That’s what good teams do, they find a way.
So, player ratings, you say? Well, I ain’t got no numbers or fancy charts, but I can tell ya who played good and who didn’t. Dortmund, they were good enough to win. Leipzig, they were good too, but not good enough this time. That’s the long and short of it, as far as I can see. They all kicked the ball, some better than others, and Dortmund won the game. That’s all there is to it. And that’s all I got to say about that.
