Alright, folks, gather ’round! I’ve got a story for you, and it’s all about the WWE and their next PPV. You know, ever since I heard that Netflix is gonna be the new home for WWE, I got all pumped up. So, I dug into this whole thing to figure out what’s cooking.
First things first, I went straight to the source. Started browsing through WWE’s official announcements and all that jazz. It’s wild to think that Raw, SmackDown, NXT – they’re all gonna be on Netflix. Not just in the US, but all over the world! This is huge, people. I mean, WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, SummerSlam – all of it streaming on Netflix? That’s a game-changer.
Next, I started looking into the schedule. When’s the next big event? What’s the deal with NXT? I found out that the next NXT Premium Live Event hasn’t been announced yet, but mark your calendars because NXT Stand & Deliver is happening in April 2024. Good to know, right?
Then I got curious about the show lengths. You know, how long you gotta block out for these events. Turns out, Raw goes on for a solid 3 hours, while SmackDown and NXT are a bit shorter at 2 hours each. As for the big Premium Live Events, they usually pop up every three weeks. And you know what else? This year, they’re all on Peacock. I made a mental note to check my subscription.
Now, here’s where it gets even more interesting. I stumbled upon some info about how Netflix is gonna handle all this. Starting January 6th, 2025, they’re taking over. That means new premium live events will be available as they air. Talk about staying on top of things!
I also noticed something about WWE and Canada. It seemed like they were a bit hesitant to host big events there, but now they’re all in. Money In The Bank 2024, for instance, it’s going down in Toronto. I thought, “Good for Canada!”
Here’s a little timeline I put together for 2025:
- ROYAL RUMBLE 2021: January 31, 2021, at Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, FL.
- NXT Takeover: Vengeance Day 2021: February 14, 2021, in Orlando, Florida.
- Elimination Chamber 2021: February 21, 2021, back at Tropicana Field.
So, yeah, that’s my deep dive into the next WWE PPV situation. It’s all pretty exciting, if you ask me. Netflix and WWE teaming up? It’s like a tag team match made in heaven! I’m definitely gonna be keeping an eye on this, and you bet I’ll be tuning in when those events roll around. Stay tuned, folks!
