Okay, so today I decided to dive into the stats from the Detroit Lions vs. 49ers game. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while, and I finally got around to it. Here’s how it went down:

Finding a Good Source
First things first, I needed to find a reliable place to get the player stats. I didn’t want some random blog; I wanted the real deal. I tried a few of different sports pages and finally, I have found one that shows exactly what I want.
Getting My Hands Dirty with the Data
Then I started to copy and paste the stats of each player and team, it takes a while to finish all of those things.
Organizing Everything
Once I had all that data, I needed a way to make sense of it. I opened up my trusty spreadsheet program. Started inputting all of the information I saved.
- Created columns for player names, rushing yards, passing yards, touchdowns, tackles – the whole nine yards.
- Started plugging in the numbers, double-checking everything to make sure I didn’t mess up.
Checking results
After all of that, I double-checked all of the results, and wow, It is my first time finish those things without error, such a good day.
And that’s pretty much it! It was a bit of a process, a very long time that I deal with those data, but hey, I got the player stats I wanted, and I learned a thing or two along the way. Now I can finally dig into the numbers and see how everyone performed. Go Lions!…or 49ers… whoever you’re rooting for!
