Okay, so I’ve been getting into betting on UFC fights lately, and I saw Derrick Lewis was fighting, so I figured I’d look into his odds. Here’s how I went about it.

Looked Up the Fight
First thing I did was just a search to make sure I had the right fight. Just wanted to double-check who he was facing and when it was going down. I already knew it was Derrick Lewis, because he’s pretty famous.
Checked Out Some Sportsbooks
Next, I started hitting up the usual sportsbooks I use. I opened a few of their webpages and compare some information. I looked into the odds they were listing for Lewis. Most places had pretty similar numbers, give or take.
Compared the Odds
I wanted to see if there were any big differences in the odds between the different sites. Sometimes you can find a better payout on one site versus another, so it’s worth checking around. I opened a few tabs and just kinda flipped back and forth.
Considered My Bet
I thought about how much I wanted to bet and what kind of bet I wanted to make. Was I feeling a straight-up win for Lewis? Or maybe a knockout?
- Think about how much to bet.
- Consider what kind of bet.
Made My Decision
After looking at everything, I went with what my gut told me, and also what made sense based on the odds I was seeing. Decided to go with a straight-up win. Seemed like the best way.

Placed the Bet
Finally, I just put my money down on the site I thought had the best odds. Now it’s just a waiting game to see if I win! It’s always a bit of a gamble, but that’s part of the fun, right?
