Okay, so I’ve been messing around with my fantasy football lineup, and I’ve got a real head-scratcher this week: Derek Carr or Daniel Jones? It’s driving me nuts!

First, I grabbed my laptop and pulled up all the stats I could find. You know, ESPN, *, some of those “expert” sites – the whole nine yards. I wanted to see their season performance so far, their matchups for this week, everything.
Digging into the Numbers
- Carr: He’s been pretty consistent, you know? Not setting the world on fire, but reliably getting some decent points. The Raiders are playing a team with a so-so defense, so that’s a plus.
- Jones: He’s been more up and down. Some games he looks amazing, running the ball, throwing touchdowns. Other games… not so much. The Giants are playing a team with, their defense kinda good.
Then, I started looking at some projections. Some people are saying Carr is the safer bet, a solid 15-20 points. Others are saying Jones has a higher ceiling, could go off for 25+… or could totally bomb. It’s a gamble!
I even checked the weather reports! Seriously, I went to some weather websites and checked the forecasts for both games. No rain or crazy wind expected, so that’s not a factor, thankfully.
The Agony of Choice
Honestly, I spent like a good hour just staring at the screen, going back and forth. My wife even came in and asked me if I was okay, I was making so many weird faces!
Finally, I just flipped a coin. No joke! Heads for Carr, tails for Jones. It landed on… well, I’m not going to tell you yet! I want to see how it plays out. It’s more fun that way. But I’ll update you guys after the games and let you know if my coin-flip strategy was a stroke of genius or a total disaster.

Wish me luck!
