Okay, guys, so I’ve been wanting to make a personalized calendar for a while now, and since I’m a huge fan of Demon Slayer, I thought, why not combine the two? So I did! Let me walk you through how I created my very own “Demon Slayer Calendar 2024”.
First off, I started by gathering all the materials I needed. This wasn’t too hard since I already had a bunch of Demon Slayer stuff lying around. I grabbed some high-quality images of my favorite characters – Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke – from some old manga volumes and posters that I had collected over time.
Next, I needed a calendar template. I found a basic 2024 calendar template. Nothing fancy, just a plain one with enough space to stick my pictures on.
Once I had my template, I started planning out the layout. I decided to dedicate each month to a specific character or a theme from the anime. For example, January features Tanjiro, and I made sure to pick an image of him using his Water Breathing technique because it looks so cool. February is all about Nezuko, and I chose a picture of her in her demon form.
- January: Tanjiro
- February: Nezuko
- March: Zenitsu
- April: Inosuke
I continued this for the rest of the months, trying to match the scenes or characters with the vibe of the month. For instance, I used a picture of the Demon Slayer Corps for July, since it’s kind of the mid-point of the year and it felt right to highlight the whole squad then.
After deciding on the images, I printed them out. I made sure they were the right size to fit the calendar without covering up the dates. Then came the fun part – sticking them onto the calendar! I used some regular glue, but you could use tape or anything else that works. I carefully pasted each image onto its designated month, making sure it was centered and looked neat.
I also added some extra touches. I had some Demon Slayer stickers, so I used them to decorate the borders and some special dates. For example, I marked the release date of the new trailer released today, December 9, 2024, with a small icon of a movie reel.
For the cover, I found a really awesome group shot of all the main characters. It’s vibrant and really captures the spirit of Demon Slayer. I pasted it on the front, and it looked amazing.
Finally, I punched some holes at the top of each page and tied them together with a nice ribbon. You can use string, a binder, or whatever you have on hand.
End Result
And there you have it – my very own, handmade “Demon Slayer Calendar 2024”. It was a fun project, and now I have a unique calendar that I can enjoy all year round. It’s also a great conversation starter whenever someone sees it. If you’re a fan of Demon Slayer or any other series, I highly recommend giving this a try. It’s a really satisfying way to show off your love for something and get a bit crafty at the same time!
