Okay, so, the other day I got this idea in my head, you know? I wanted to try and do that Conor McGregor walk. Yeah, the one he does, like he owns the place. So I thought, “Why not?” Let’s give it a shot!
First, I just watched a bunch of videos of Conor doing his thing. I just tried to get a feel for it, you know? He’s got this swagger, this whole vibe going on. It’s not just a walk, it’s like, a whole performance.
Then, I started trying to copy it. I stood in front of my mirror and just, you know, started walking. It felt weird at first, not gonna lie. Swinging my arms like that, puffing out my chest. I probably looked ridiculous. My cat was staring at me like I’d lost my mind.
But I kept at it. I practiced swinging my arms more, keeping my head up, shoulders back. I even tried to put on that cocky face he makes, you know the one? It’s all in the attitude, I realized. You gotta believe you’re the king of the world.
- Watch Conor’s walk.
- Stand tall.
- Swing arms.
- Puff out chest.
- Own it.
I practiced in my living room, then I moved to the hallway. Then, feeling a little braver, I took it outside to my backyard. My neighbors probably thought I was nuts, strutting around like that, but whatever. I was having fun.
Getting the feel
I realized that the walk is just one piece of this whole persona. I wanted to be like Conor McGregor. I just strutted in front of my house, it felt good, I feel like I was the king of the world, at least my own world.
It’s not just about the physical movements. It’s about the confidence, the attitude. You gotta feel it inside, you know? And I gotta say, after doing it for a while, I started to feel a little bit of that McGregor energy. It’s empowering, in a weird way.
So, yeah, that’s my story about trying to do the Conor McGregor walk. It was fun, it was silly, and it was a good little confidence boost. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime. Who knows, maybe I’ll even try it in public someday. We’ll see!
