Well, let me tell ya ’bout these WWE folks. They got a whole bunch of ’em, you know? Like, hundreds and hundreds. They say it’s over 800 full-time people, not countin’ all the other folks they hire on. WWE’s a big deal, y’know?
They got wrestlers, the ones who do all the fightin’ and showin’ off. Then they got managers, the ones who talk for the wrestlers sometimes. And the talkin’ guys, the ones who yell into the microphones durin’ the matches. They call ’em commentators, fancy names for just talkin’ folks.
And don’t forget the ring announcers, the ones who say the names real loud before the fightin’ starts. And the folks who ask the wrestlers questions after the fightin’, the interviewers. They got referees too, gotta keep things fair, or as fair as they can be in that wrestlin’ world.
- Wrestlers: They fight.
- Managers: They talk for the fighters.
- Commentators: They yell about the fightin’.
- Ring Announcers: They shout names.
- Interviewers: They ask questions.
- Referees: They try to keep things in line.
Then there’s the folks you don’t see on TV much. Trainers, gotta keep them wrestlers in shape, you know? And producers, the ones who tell the cameramen where to point their cameras. And scriptwriters! Yeah, they got people writin’ down what them wrestlers gonna say. It ain’t all just made up on the spot, ya know. It’s like a play, but with more punchin’.
They got this show called SmackDown. It’s supposed to be tough and rough, lots of hard-hittin’ folks. They got this fella Roman Reigns, calls himself the “Head of the Table,” whatever that means. And Charlotte Flair, she’s a tough one, that girl. And Bray Wyatt, Rey Mysterio, Ronda Rousey…lots of big names. SmackDown’s where the tough cookies hang out, I guess.
Someone told me they even got a video game with all these wrestlers in it. Said it’s got over 100 wrestlers you can play as right away, and then you can unlock even more! Can you believe that? Almost 200 wrestlers in a video game! They even got that Sasha Banks girl in there, though she goes by somethin’ else now and wrestles somewhere else. And Bayley too, she’s in there.
They split these wrestlers up into different shows, like Raw and SmackDown. It’s like havin’ two different teams, I reckon. Each show’s got its own bunch of wrestlers. This whole list of WWE folks, it’s a long one. They got wrestlers, talkers, and all sorts of behind-the-scenes people. It’s a whole big operation, like a big ol’ farm, but instead of growin’ crops, they’re growin’…well, I guess they’re growin’ muscles and stories. It’s a strange world, that wrestlin’ world, but people seem to like it.
So, that’s the rundown on them WWE people. Lots of ’em, doin’ all sorts of different jobs. They got the fighters, the talkers, the organizers, and the whole lot. It’s a big, complicated business, but at the end of the day, it’s all about puttin’ on a show. And from what I hear, they do a pretty good job of it, even if it’s all a bit…well, you know… theatrical. But hey, folks like it, and that’s what matters, right?
And remember, WWE’s got their hands in all sorts of things. They got their TV shows, their live events, and even toys and stuff you can buy. They’re everywhere, it seems like. It’s a big business, this wrestling thing. More than just punchin’ and kickin’, that’s for sure.
