Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on one of those Cody Rhodes WWE Elite figures for a while now. You know, the “American Nightmare” and all that. Finally, I decided to pull the trigger and grab one.
First, I checked out a few different places online. I saw it on a big online retailer, but it was almost gone, with a big countdown timer. Talk about pressure!
Then I found it on another site, the official store, but I decided to check a different online store just in case.
Finally, I just went with a popular online store, you know the one that delivers same day, and ordered it from there. It was pretty easy, just a few clicks and it was on its way.
When it arrived, the box was in perfect shape. The figure itself is based on his look from SummerSlam 2023, which was a pretty big deal, I guess. I ripped that box open like a kid on Christmas morning.
- The Details: This thing is super detailed. They really nailed his look, from the tattoos to the ring gear. It’s got all the points of articulation you’d expect from an Elite figure, so you can pose him in all sorts of ways.
- Action Poses: Naturally, I spent a good chunk of time putting him in different wrestling poses. The Cross Rhodes, of course, is a must.
- Quality: I gotta say, the quality is top-notch. It feels solid and well-made. This isn’t some cheap toy, it is made by Mattel after all.
Honestly, I was stoked. This figure is awesome. It’s a great addition to my collection, and it’s cool to have a little piece of wrestling history, or something like that. If you’re a Cody fan, or just a wrestling figure collector, I’d definitely recommend picking one of these up. You won’t be disappointed.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go practice some more figure poses. Maybe I’ll even set up a little ring for him…yeah, that’s what I’ll do.
