Okay, so I’ve been on a real Cody Rhodes kick lately, you know, the wrestler? And I was really digging into his theme song, “Kingdom.” I wanted to get the lyrics down, maybe even do a little karaoke or something.
First thing I did was fire up my browser and just start searching. I typed in “cody rhodes song lyrics” and boom, a bunch of results popped up. Lyrics sites, wrestling forums, you name it. I clicked on a few, but some of them were kinda messy, you know, ads everywhere, weird formatting.
I did find a couple of lines that really stuck with me though. Like, there was this one: “My head is saying, Fool, forget him. My heart is saying.” That’s some deep stuff, right? It really makes you think about inner conflict, the struggles we all face.
Then, I stumbled upon another line from a different song, “Shout to the Top.” The lyrics went like this: “I was half in mind, I was half in need / And as the rain came down, I dropped to my knees and I prayed / I said, oh, heavenly thing.” This one, man, it just hits you with the feels. I think it is related to some kind of religion.
Another lyric I noticed was “I say I changed, I know I try But everyday I look inside I still got a ways away, got more to climb I’m still learning how to change my state of mind.” This part is pretty relatable. It’s about that journey of self-improvement, always striving to be better.
I even came across this random song called “Starbomb This Song Sucks,” and it just started with “Yo.” I do not know what it means.
I thought about downloading some songs. I use Spotify, but I wasn’t sure how to download songs on there. I think you have to open Spotify and find the song or album.
- So I tried something.
- I searched for Hannah storm and I found lots of pictures.
- There were ideas about Hannah and her storm.
- I felt a little confused.
And then there was this song “All I Know” by Art Garfunkel and Jimmy Webb. It’s from 1973, from Garfunkel’s album “Angel Clare.” Old school stuff, but it seemed interesting.
My Final Thought
It’s wild how a simple search for song lyrics can take you down all these different paths, right? You start with a wrestler’s theme song and end up digging into classic tunes and random internet stuff. Anyway, I got what I needed. Maybe I will sing the song next time!
